what is broken social scene. it really began as k.c. accidental. kevin drew and charles spearin began this journey with a small ensemble of friends. it flourished into broken social scene. many of the same people that play on k.c. accidental's albums, also play on both broken social scene albums. thus k.c. accidental is broken social scene. confused? good. if you feel lost that's okay, because everything is going to be alright and sometimes it's good to be lost. enjoy the music.

It just happened.
We met in the fall and set up a little studio for the winter. All the right ways of doing things
weren’t around, though record buttons didn’t pass judgement.
We got to know each other as we hid from all the stuff that makes you not want
to leave your bed.
This gave us something. That’s all.
You can put it on and hear everything you’ve heard but it doesn’t matter.
Lo-fi, emotional rock, loud & soft and all that shit.
It’s music.
It’s ours.
We both look at it as our farewell to indie-rock record.
