We try to create sounds that are ambient and moving, yet odd and alien. We never go into a song knowing exactly how the song will sound, but we do create sounds that are edible for the ear within the songs as a whole. We don’t search for the sound, we let the sound search for us. A song, as we see it, especially with instrumentals, should be as emotional or as unemotional as possible to catch the audiences attention. There should be nothing in between because it will end up being musical fluff.
We have been working with music for around two years now and we believe we are at the point where we want to be with our musical creation. Unique percussion, smooth melodies, and strange background noises and moods. We like to be as original as possible. So we make sounds that are virtually impossible to recreate. We take a sound and run it through multiple effects and EQ’s and then mix it down. We might run through the whole process again until the sound "fits the bill." Our music is continuously growing and we are constantly learning. There is no end to the places we can go, to the places we can reach. Music can be expansive as hell if you know how to treat it. What we believe is how we deal with day to day life. Music is who we are from Pachelbel’s - Canon to Joy Division’s - New Dawn Fades. We believe in ourselves and music plays a leading role in helping us survive. Music is what we make of it. If we can understand who we are, we can understand the role music should play in our lives. Music is our religion.
We believe in the emotional side of music, the religious side. We don’t listen to music for the pure intent to rock on. Rather, we listen to music to create a disturbance, to make us realize things that are distant. The music that we create and listen to has nothing to do with what we feel, but rather it is an escape from what we feel into new and more complex feelings.
